The AMG hand-built M104.980 DOHC engine is factory-rated at 268 hp – 48 over the basic 3.0-liter specification. It features a displacement increase to 3.3 liters, and delivers power via a rare five-speed manual gearbox and automatic limited-slip differential (option code 211).

Registered new to Mercedes-Benz AG, and a lifelong European vehicle until most recently, this scarce W124-generation AMG model was built in October 1991 and delivered just two months later.
